Low-cost consulting services for cultural
organizations, schools, and local cultural councils
Do you need
to identify new donors?
Do you need to train and energize your board?
Do you need help planning a leadership transition?
The
MCC Advisor Corps can help. Massachusetts cultural organizations,
schools, and local cultural councils can apply to receive up
to two days of consulting services for a low cost of just $100
per day plus travel, meals and other related expenses.
Advisors
are seasoned non-profit administrators with expertise in specific
operational areas such as fundraising, marketing, audience development,
strategic planning, board development, capital campaign readiness
and more. They know the challenges of running a non-profit cultural
organization and are recognized in the field for their experience
and creative solutions.
MCC will match your organization with an advisor who is an
expert in the topic you need help with. Together you will
design an on-site session that provides the specific training
and outside feedback you need.
What clients have to say:
"Our advisor was a perfect match for our organization.
She worked well with staff and Board members and was able
to get everyone on the 'same page' in a short amount of time."
- Barrington Stage Company, Sheffield, received help with strategic planning.
"Many issues are similar between same-sized organizations
and it is so helpful to have someone who understands your
situation give feedback and act as a sounding board."
- Provincetown Art Association and Museum received help with technology planning.
"Having an outsider voice and facilitator was helpful
in getting my board to volunteer to do tasks." - Puppet
Showplace, Brookline, received help with board training.
Please contact the MCC
staff member with whom your organization works or Amanda Dillon to discuss application for the program.
Seed funding for the MCC Advisor Corps was provided by a grant from the The
