|Brick + Mortar International Video Art Festival | Greenfield | 2012
The Brick + Mortar International Video Art Festival presented cutting edge video art works from around the world in downtown Greenfield. Many of the towns historic properties, in various stages of renovation, served as the stage for a series of temporary video art installations that are free and open to the public. The festival was made possible by dozens of volunteers and an outpouring of community support. The third annual festival took place in 2011 with curator Christopher Cox selecting work by a range of contemporary artists who focus on sound, music, and relationships of dissonance and consonance between sound and image.
