|The Island Family Exhibit | Marthas Vineyard | 2004
Marthas Vineyard Community Services celebrated 40 years of service with a series of events dedicated to island families and a healthy community. After he prior inaugural Island Family Exhibit, the community requested support for making a permanent display by adding four new families to the collection annually. This project was a traveling photo-text exhibit that profiled the lives of the growing number of families residing permanently on Martha's Vineyard. The exhibit represented the richness of diversity of family experience indicative of the island life including families of African Americans, Brazilians, and Wampanoag Tribe, to name a few.
