Information & Training Sessions
Revised Schedule

Because of the need to cancel four of eight training sessions scheduled, the following is the new schedule that includes the Application Orientation and a brief introduction to Program Planning and Evaluation. (Youth Development Principles and Practice will not be offered this fall, but key concepts will be included in the Application Orientation session.)

Application Orientation
This information session will offer an overview of the YouthReach Initiative and tips for preparing a competitive application. Anyone planning to submit an application this year is strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions. Advance registration is required. Schedule and locations listed below.

Program Planning and Evaluation
This introduction to the "logic-model" approach to program planning and evaluation is designed to give you a head start on developing a strong program and a competitive application. The logic-model approach is an excellent planning tool that helps you develop intended outcomes, performance indicators, measures of success, and data-collection tools to track your success. (If this language is foreign to you or sounds like jargon, you are strongly encouraged to attend this session.) Advance registration is required. Schedule and locations listed below.
